The original game from 2010 had fully functional mirrors. Many AAA games don't have that even today, which is a shame. Mafia 2 was truly ahead of its time, just like Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven.

i played this game growing up on my ps3 i played it every day for years and now at 16 i still play it and it gives me the same joy it did when i was younger by far one of my favorite games and game series

This game has so much attention to detail it’s crazy it tells you how much mileage is on a car and you have to restock on gas when you run out I didn’t think they would make more likable characters than mafia one but man this game tops it Joe and Vito are by far my favorite duo

Another "details" about Mafia II:
The 2nd segment is set in 1951, but a lot of the cars seen mimics real cars from the late 1950s, such as the '57 Ford Fairlane, the '56 Bel Air and the 1956 Ford Thunderbird.
Also, most of the songs on the radio were from the late 50s instead of the 40s- early 50s as expected. An example:
Rave On! By Buddy Holly (released only in the solo self-titled album released in 1958)

This game was amazing. Receiving it by Christmas 2010 made my kid self so happy. Listening to Dino's Let It Snow while my grandma watched me play would always be in my mind
