What could possibly go wrong with housing strangers on your property? This is a disaster in the making.

It won't work.I helped a close friend of my family off and on for several decades. He was a drinker, broke all the rules imposed and it ended bad.I came home to catch him and his friends passing around the dope pipe on my front porch. With one homeless person comes a throng of their addicted friends. The two go hand in hand.

Can you give an update on what happened with the first tenant czar and his progress and how things are going, with your landlord tenant relationship.

I would definitely have someone live in my back yard and add a separate bath house so they could use the bathroom shower and wash their face with a space to set up their tent and possibly have an extra mud room for shelter from the storm.

I think Canada can help you with that.

Get a peice of property and put a bunch of tiny houses on it and of course a restroom is gonna be needed, that shouldn't cost too much and it's not that hard to do, why hasn't something happened yet for the homeless!!

Until someone will lease their backyard/block home to regular people for profit.

Opening up your backyard is telling someone you accept them, but there is a vetting process, why not just let anyone move in, why so selective? It's nice idea and thoughtful but are they going to live in your backyard forever? Are they actively looking for a job to stand up on their own 2 feet? Hope no incidents happen. Good luck on this!

Also putting strangers in back yards. Could be addicts or offenders.

I like how the excuse is homeless first and then Drug use. Just bass ackwards. This will do nothing to help the homeless. Dumb.

Cause tax liens at best with the bid up and bid downs you are lucky if you make 6% on your money so if you pay $1, 000 for someone s property taxes and if they the home owners are only a few months behind you will make maybe $60 in addition to your thousand so you gained an extra $60 instead of doubling or tripling your money on a flip or wholesaling it for an extra $6, 000 dollars

what i don't get is they won't allow a person to live in a tent or tipi. these are very inexpensive, environmentally friendly, instantly accessible solutions. the govt sucks.
