It's great that you can be so honest about what you think about what you read, the variety makes the good ratings that much more compelling!
I started watching the VWars series on Netflix after you mentioned it last time, and it's fun; lot's of gore, I'm unsure about the plot though, I can' put my finger on it; maybe it's the pacing...
(And I double checked that I definitely put Joyland on my library waiting list, and I did, so, good!)

I wasn't a huge fan of Doom Patrol but what I did read I thought it was really well done and I thought it had some of the weirdest villains.
Joyland was good. Great reviews!
