While invincibility lasts only a little more than 10 seconds in TWOC, that game allows you to extend its lenght as you get more Aku Aku masks even before invincibility runs out. There's very few Crash Bandicoot games that let you do that so far

The short duration of invincibility in Twinsanity is the least of the problems. The invincibility could last even 1 hour but it wouldn't change anything since it's totally useless.

Unfortunately the invincibility ended up being nerfed even in Twinsanity, it lasts a short time and does not protect against TNT and Nitro.

0:09 in Crash Twinsanity, they have nerfed the Aku Aku invincibility time. Also you can't kill enemies with a single touch anymore and you're not invincible with the Nitro or TNT, what a sad... So the Aku Aku invincibility in Crash Twinsanity is pretty useless... Even if you got 2 Aku Aku to protect you or 3 to make you be invincible, you can't even survive the Nitro or TNT, this is BS...

Technically, you did miss the CTR versions of invincibility, but then it just means you missed other games' versions of invincibility as well.
