love that Lisa is bumping some Asians and showing her Asian pride. You don't normally see Asian in the media and if they are in the media they are usually pretty low key. Most often you also only hear about black rights, or the injustice that African Americans face, but I think we forget about all the other minorities. It's not just black people.

I have to say I’m black. This popped up and I’m so glad. Connie Chung was my generation. All of us women in my neighborhood loved and applauded her work, we knew she had to claw and fight to get there. But for me, I thought it was more for being a woman. How naive. I know all about the black fight and didn’t think about the Asian fight. I’m ashamed. I’m up on it now. Lisa, in your 5 minutes of eloquence you laid it all out and I want to know more. Thank you.

This is really inspiring. I've always admired Lisa Ling and to have an Asian American so successful in journalism in America is amazing because it's not a typical field Asian Americans go into.
