The Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo share more than just similar name. They both have a long colonial history that continues to haunt them.

Sorry you second map of Africa is wrong Ethiopia was independent till 1898 or 1889 than the italian make Eritrea a province of Impor of Abbesina = Ethiopia they own collonie . I feel as italian shame for this . Later in 1935 under Benito Mussolini Abessina was occupied to. Spain didn't have colonies on east coast of Africa. On the West for sure Westsahara and some small other do i not remember the name.
