The Cancelling of a Heroic Jesuit | FORWARD BOLDLY

Father Paul Mankwoski led a remarkable life: degrees from Harvard and Oxford; a former boxer; nearly married, until God called him to the priesthood; author of numerous writings. He joined the Jesuits, and remained with them for 44 years — most of them years of suffering and persecution for his orthodoxy.

In this interview, I talk with Karen Hall, author of the new book "The Sound of Silence: The Life and Cancelling of a Heroic Jesuit Priest."

Once again thank you Christine for bringing another excellent story of, indeed I believe, a holy priest Fr Paul Mankowski whom I pray will be a source of inspiration and hope to not only faithful priests, the Jesuits in particular, but to all orthodox Catholics who are deeply offended and concerned by what is going on in the Catholic church at the moment. Wise words Christine - we must pray for the grace of perseverance in these difficult times. Forward Boldly! and may the Lord protect you and your family and bless Karen Hall for bringing the story of Fr Paul out into the light. Ave Maria 🙏🙏

Thank you Christine for this wonderful interview. It's so encouraging and uplifting to hear of a Priest and ESPECIALLY a Jesuit Priest that was actually faithful to the true Church in spite of his persecution from his own order. There actually are a few good orthodox Jesuits left, albeit very few, that are suffering within their own order. And...it is WONDERFUL to hear that the young priests coming into the order that are actually orthodox Catholics. I hear this time and time again that young priests, no matter what order they go into, are MUCH more orthodox. They, I think, are fed up with the nonsense going on in the Church of Christ! I think and I pray that God is beginning to right the ship if ever so slightly. We, I believe, and I PRAY, can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Praise be to God!! Oh and BTW, it's WONDERFUL to see a podcast from you...for some reason I haven't been able to find you of late. GREAT to see you!

Father Mankowski was a scholastic during my days at Loyola Academy. He was a man among the fairy Jesuit clan. God bless him.

Father Paul Mankwoski - I never heard of him before. From what was said in this interview, it seems like his cause for sainthood could be a reality someday. I will order this book about him, and will pray for him, too.

A Saintly individual like Fr.Paul Mankowski will always experience persecution as a sanctifying process.
The ALMIGHTY must be profoundly pleased of His steadfast commitment to His vows and His fortitude amidst the escalating hostility and persecution resulting from His orthodoxy.
His heroic virtues and values must be emulated and extolled by all of us who also aspire for sanctification in order to warrant the merit of the LORD’S Beatific Vision.
Fr.Paul Mankowski pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
