Old Guns Quest Can't Assign to Artillery?

I waffled a little bit in this one (sorry!), so thought I'd give you the handy time stamps above. :)

Basically, I describe how to assign someone to the artillery if you are trying to and it isn't working on the available unassigned people. For some reason, it doesn't let you assign either Ronnie or your companion, so you need to work around this, and I show you how to.

2 WRONGS with fallout 4: 1). The quests that never end. 2). The tricks thats impossible to figure out like assigning settlers to the artilleries but thanks for explaining.

I just started playing this a week ago on ps5....I had the same problem....I ended up building a radio becon and waited for a settler to arrive....Took 2mins and it worked.

Ugh! I never knew that's how you assigned people, I built 4-5 guns and even put my companion on one with no luck. Thank you!

How are you able to move with your workbench open? I can't move at all with my workbench open. I'm on PC.

I’ve watched your whole video and tried this. It’s not working for me I’m on Xbox series x. I have 8 people, plenty of people unassigned. I put down a couple stores, and I can’t even assign people to the stores. I e also tried going back in old saves and started a brand new save.
Is there any other options please? 😅

Yeah but I'm pretty sure u can't do supply lines on ps4

Ummmm, You can’t assign Ronnie or your follower or the radio guy. You have to use a settler. You can never assign those that you were trying. This is helpful but this is very common.
