I use “He is Ancient, He is the Land” as Strahd’s battle theme. My players know the opening to the song by heart and as soon as they hear the first couple of seconds, it’s all and heads in hands around the table. Absolute masterpiece.

This genuinely removes my anxiety to DM and fills me with a sense of excitement and desire to give the best game I can. There's just so much atmosphere that I have to resist making my sandox even more grim fairy-tale than it already is <3 Also I live dancing with wolves as it's not too obnoxious like most battle music, Witcher vocals make the battle music from that game difficult but I like the balanced volume in this.

Wouldn't it be amazing to run Curse of Strahd using the 'milestone' levelling up method, using encounters that match these songs as milestones?
...Then when players level up, you play THIS MUSIC. Epic levels would be off the scale!!

This gentleman is a composing genius! I would love for him to make a soundtrack for Out of the Abyss at some point as well to see how his mastery over dark themes of Curse of Strahd translate to more alien and potentially even darker (literally and figuratively) themes of the Underdark and Abyss!

This is just marvelous, the final track He Is The Ancient, He Is The Land gave me chills and is so perfect for my favorite DnD villian Strahd! Into the Mist is the perfect Ravenloft movie opening theme and catches the mystery and dread of the mists and Ravenloft perfectly. This whole soundtrack is just so perfect!

27:33 in my game during the coffin maker's shop, we heard creaking from the other room while all of us were silent, This music perfectly represents the feeling when I used my sense undead feature and saw 6 freaking vampires and then we booked our way outa there o.o

just bought the album on Amazon. being a HUGE fan of Ravenloft/Strahd i had to have this. excellent working capturing the mood and history of Ravenloft in this beautiful album!!!

I've been looking for suitably gothic, adventuring, and heroic music that fits the very best of Curse of Strahd's themes and inspirations, without just being the soundtrack to Castlevania or Bram Stoker's Dracula, and this somehow captures it all perfectly. Every piece fits the moments, the characters, the feeling of traveling through Barovia and standing against The Devil Himself.

I'm a forever GM finally getting to play, in CoS no less, and I am absolutely going to be hyping this soundtrack up for the game. You've *nailed* musically what this adventure feels like, absolutely well done, mate.

Wow! This is some really amazing stuff. I especially love "All Against Darkness, " it captures Ezmerelda's vistani cultural sound while also conveying her no-nonsense and badass character.
