After software update, it looks different. If it press the temp, the climate control screen pops up. If I press an up/down arrow to either side of the temp (on driver or passenger), then a smaller pop-up appears and it has "Split" to the right end of the temperature bar. It is the opposite sense of "Sync": in blue means the controls operate independently and grayed out means adjusting either one adjusts them both.
