Health literacy in research, practice and policy

This keynote provides insights to research, practice, and policy in the field of health literacy and how it relates to sustainability development. Specific projects are introduced, for example from HBSC (Health Behaviour of School-aged Children), and further studies and implications are drawn for health literacy practice. There is a look on global health literacy networks, their ties to schools, and why policy making is critical to ensure that health literacy is recognized and promoted in society.
