[Skyrim] Xbox mods | reliable load order | no crashes
The 3.5 gigs for Bruma are of course optional, put any new lands or quests mods there if have any.
This is put together on an Xbox Series S, so the "UNCAP FPS" (60frames per second) mod will give screen tear on previous gen consoles.
Any mods you would rather have instead of those that are listed here, simply replace the mod in the video where shown with your similar mod of choice, (I place my mods in their groups in order of size, I prefer it this way, but that's just me).
"BALANCED DAMAGE SCALE" mod, normally the Adept difficulty is 1x / 1x damage dealt and received, this mod changes that to Novice, so Novice is now 1x / 1x damage dealt and received.
"REALISTIC ARROW DAMAGE" mod, makes ALL arrows do much more damage, personally I think arrows should kill or cripple in 1-3 hits, this combined with "balanced damage scale" will further increase this effect. Also, simply place this lower in LO if the arrow damage values stay same as vanilla, some mods like Total War armory Overhaul will overwrite this realistic arrow damage mod, so place below the total war or similar type of mod if having problems getting the increased arrow damage.
"HAND PLACED ENEMIES" mod, there are more enemies, some have stronger weapons and can 1 shot you with power attacks, this combined with "balanced damage scale" is deadly and may not work well with normal melee builds, sneaky/ranged/shield builds for negating or avoiding damage completely are the ways this will work, unless you just want to 1 shot them before they 1 shot you with your great axe.
"LOWERED HOODS" mod, if wanting the hoods up, simple disable/delete this mod.
Everything in this Load Order is tested apart from the "SERANA" mods.
If "GROWL" mod does not let you loot npc bodies, then simply place it lower by about 10 mods at a time and test it, this worked for me, where it is now is below where I had it previously.
"DEADLY CIVIL WAR OF SKYRIM", do not enable this until have joined a faction, the lag caused for previous gen consoles may be high if combined with lots of other mods like grass and trees and armour overhauls and face retextures and the like.
Remember, on the console for some mods to take place you must exit the game and restart the console. Simply do this whenever installing new mods, easy.
This load order of mods focuses more on lighting, changing many smaller things such as sound effects and gameplay, everything comes together to make Skyrim feel fresh.
The "DYNAMIC CAMERA" mod can be tricky,
Alignment (idle/melee/ranged): right, no zoom.
Height (idle/melee): low
Height (ranged): medium or high, test the 3rd person accuracy (low height for ranged interferes with bow and arrow accuracy).
Minimum zoom: closest.
Maximum zoom: farthest.
FOV (field of view): 90 or 100 if you wanted a change.
"VIOLENS" mod: putting ranged kills to 100% chance of kill cam means we can be less accurate with bows and arrows, meaning it can be more fun gameplay, just make your bow and arrow very strong.
"SKYRIM REPUTATION", for 81mb download vs what I was getting during my game, there was too little impact for me to want to keep it, I uninstalled it.
"AT YOUR OWN PACE" mod: when doing the companions radial side quests, there was an enemy I had to kill but they were not loading into the game, idk if this mod made this happen or not but I uninstalled mainly for this reason.
"PAARTHURNAX DILEMMA", I uninstalled due to it changing too little when I thought about it I wasn't overly bothered about having it there to potentially give me a bug, it is personal preference, you may like them of course.
SNOW: the snow textures can go weird sometimes, simply save the game, exit out, restart console, load game, snow is fine.
The mods that do not have a picture showing, I think they are no longer available as of the posting of this video *7th November 2022*.
ELFX Shadows will work instead of what's in the video, and the quiver retexture mod shown here can be replaced by Elsopa - Quivers Redone.
