As an owner of the blue Eichii II, I can vouch how deep and complex that porcelain dial is…unlike any I’ve seen; none of the pictures I’ve seen did it justice. The movement finishing is better than any watch I’ve owned and challenge anyone to find beveling deeper and more refined than this movement. The price point…well, probably not for everyone.

Funny this should pop up, I just bought a Seiko Presage Arita Porcelain SPB171 and absolutely love it. The porcelain dial is very reflective and catches the light, giving it an almost wet finish, and the dial hands have a gemstone finish, going from dark blue to bright blue when the sun hits them at the right angle. I have to say I've spent a lot of time just staring at the dial. Very pleased with my purchase, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

The value of the presage is great for what you get. The dial is luxurious feeling.

Wearing my Credor Eichii II "GBLT997" while watching this video, The Credor is a very very amazing watch, you can see the white dial's edges disappear while moving the watch like an eclipse! The Persage is such an amazing watch for the cost though.

Also, the no date is rare for Seiko and really enhances the dial. Another winner from Seiko.

Ended up getting a Sarx095 after finding this vid and it was just so stunning, clean dial w/o date and symmetrical, very nice white.

The Seiko Presage with the Arita Porcelain dial is an amazing watch for the price. The porcelain, both the white and light blue, is a beautiful material.

Stunning! I would most certainly purchase this Seiko, as the dial is eminently pleasing, and the hands and slight concave nature of the dial are mesmerizing. Thank you.

That would definitely be on my list of future additions to the collection. I have the SPB171J1 and the dial is exquisite. These pieces have to be seen in the flesh to be fully appreciated. There's quite a few gems in the Presage line-up and this is one of them.

I could absolutely see myself owning this watch. Seiko has absolutely been making some moves and i am completely into it. It's not easy to change a collective perception of a brand but, they've won me over BIG TIME. In my Chrono24 "Clipboard" i think i have more Seiko's, Grand Seiko's and Credor there than i do everything else combined. From expensive quartz Grand Seiko's to Credor Spring Drive models to straight up Seiko's that have amazing dials like this one you showcased it's nice to see the roman numerals on this kind of dial material. SEIKO equates to QUALITY and CRAFTSMANSHIP in my eyes now, absolutely, 100%. And if i'm being completely honest with kinda get off on the fact that when others see me wearing something with the Seiko name on it, they think it's cheaper than it is. "Ya it's just a Seiko" when little do most know, this 2022 Grand Seiko Spring Drive diver costs more than the car they're driving.

I'm all for Seiko Corporation and everything they're doing. I Seikopath.

Thank you so much Andrew for sharing this . I have seen this at a Seiko AD in Calcutta, India and I will pick it up in my next travel there for sure .

Ooo that's pretty! Could be tempted by this one. Wish Seiko would make more watches without the pointless date complication (especially Divers)
Excellent video, thank you Gentlemen 👍🏻👍🏻

I'm a huge fan of Grand Seiko and currently own two of their models. Having said that, I'm not fully on board with the Credor line price point. At what point (under X magnification) does the finishing of the case/dial/materials taper off and become only bragging rights? Obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but most Credor watches I've seen come across boring... I'll take a Lange over one.

As a milgauss z blue owner I have just added the seiko SARW011 (enamel dial) for £700 and am just as mesmerised x the dial and overall case finishing (as I am with my Rolexes). The seiko has definitely made me fall in love with the extra X factor of an enamel dial.

You can find a lovely 1980's quartz Credor for a few hundred quid, with a fully serviceable movement and high accuracy.

I just got the seiko presage craftsmanship series - spb267j1, amazing dial + the date dial and power reserve complication. Beautiful blue hue to the Arita porcelain, get it if you can. I'm not a Seiko dealer, or any dealer just a private collector 😁

Thank you so much for looking into the Seiko Arita Porcelain dial watch models! I believe they have evolved since their past iterations and the no date version maintains the integrity of the porcelain dial much better.

To look at something new, please consider the “Light Blue” Grand Seiko SBGH297 released today? Is this a coincidence or a response to the rising popularity of the Tiffany Blue colour?

Really appreciate you cutting these versions of your channel in half! They are very informative but IMO were too long. I LOVE that Credor blue. My god is that the most beautiful dial I have ever seen. And of course the finishing! I would love to see one in person! Also the Credor Sonnerie...grail watches! Thanks for a great channel!

I've only watched this video today and I just came back from checking out the watches at my local dealer and they had the porcelain presage and I couldn't stop thinking about your credor video
