Will you give Intel another chance if they're performing good for a good price?

If anything, Intel has taught me to not be an early adopter of their tech. I'm all for the competition coming back to drive innovation though.

Hello, Thiago! I apologize in advance if this comment gets too lengthy. This is probably the 5th or 6th video of yours that I've ever watched. You now have a new and loyal subscriber, and here's why. With the 12900k preorder going live recently, I've been scouring YT for reviews and whatnot. Obviously, I watched the top 3 or 4 mainstream tech videos, because who (in this genre) doesn't? Anyway, I've noticed something after watching your videos in particular. Not to sound rude or negative in any manner, but with the mainstream guys, as opposed to you, their personalities outshine or get in the way of their content. Again, not to sound condescending, I love their videos, but there's this quality about your content that, due to scouring for 12900k reviews (a dozen or more watched), I have yet to come across. Thank you for what you do and the time you put into it. You are now going to be placed in the front of my "must watch first" lineup because I know I can depend on you to provide straightforward, raw, unbiased facts and information. Keep it up; you'll be mainstream in no time!

I don't absolutely feel the need of upgrading my R9 5900x

"Just to clarify DDR5 is not backwards compatible with DDR4, it’s a completely different DIMM slot. There will be DDR4 and DDR5 Alder Lake motherboards, but you have to pick which memory type you want to use, this is very important information for those upgrading."

I think my Ryzen system will still be ok for another 3 years or so. In the past few years I've only really upgraded once the new DDR platform and Motherboard chipset matures.

If it'd work on my Z590 board I'd be all in, but since it (as usual) requires a new platform, I'm probably gonna give this generation a miss... Or at least wait and see what AMD's answer is to Alder Lake.

Maybe you need an additional diffused light pointing on your face. The room illumination is already perfect... 👌🏻

Ask yourself WHY they don't want reviews out before release. A 240W CPU NO THANKS. This thing is DOA. They are hyping this thing like no other. They seeded these to pretty much anybody with a following.

I’ve got a 12700k and a motherboard on pre-order. Now we’ll wait to see how it turns out.

I think most people that were going to upgrade their cpus while using the same gpu already bought ryzen. I believe you prices are what is hurting 12th gen as much as anything else.

$1500 build and if you gonna have a new GPU you gonna need 1500w, ill pass

Ddr5 is not interchangeable. If you go with ddr4, you will have to buy a new motherboard to upgrade to ddr5

Bottlenecking something that doesn't exists? Nice try.

Edit: the day my r7-5800x will bottleneck any card in 1080p/1440p i'll let you know maybe in 2030.

Buy 12th Gen now or wait for 13th Gen?

I’m waiting for the new architecture to mature. I was fortunate enough to get a 10900kf on launch so I’m good for awhile haha

Just a suggestion, work on your lighting.

I mean well I can wait 12 to 18 months before I build a new one as my sabertooth Z170s with an i7 6700 cpu and a geforce rtx 2070 gpu still run flawlessly in both games and everyday tasks. then it may be that the prices have started to be attractive by that time;)
