Suspenseful thriller. If you are in the personal care field this book will seem 100% unrealistic but if your not, you will love this book!

Disappointed with the ending, build up was great, like Lowen, got sick of the sex talk. It was heavy until it wasnt

I can’t believe people think of this as good writing. Character motivations that don’t make sense, plot threads that disappear into the ether, ridiculous sex scenes, pages and pages and pages of nothing but exposition for the express purpose of filling pages. This is the literary equivalent of Sponge Bob SquarePants. Nothing makes sense, the plots and characters are ridiculous, and decisions made by these characters can only be explained logically as, “the author needs the story to proceed”.

I actually just read this last night. I finished it in one sitting. It is so good. This was first introduction to Colleen Hoover. I immediately picked up "Ugly Love" after finishing Verity. I recommend both of them. My only criticism is that the spiciness is excessive. I think you could cut out 90% of the spiciness and the book would be just as good. This is one booktube(booktok) book that is worth the hype and I want to read more from her.

agreed! this was mu first read by this author and it was SOO GOOD! Highly reccomend this book. There is another chapter added in her gold cover and definitely worth it!

I do not like Colleen Hoover as a writer, I have read three of her books just finished verity so disappointing.
