3b can also be solved like this:
1) when r^(some value) = 2, that's when it's doubled
2) So, what is the power you give 1.056 to to get 2? (When ever you ask "what is the power to get this" that's a log)
3) log[1.056](2) --> ln 2/ln1.056 using change of base
~ 12.72, making 1st time that it is > 2 times the original yr 13.

Something very weird happened to me on 5b...
I used the store regression option for Y1 and Y2, x on y, y on x
graphed it and did 2nd trace 5 to get intersection...
and it was (34.81, 34.55). Would this also work?

Although of course I do recognize that it would have been quicker to do 2nd stat math --> 3(mean) of L1 and 2nd enter to switch in for L2

question 3a, it wouldnt make sense for the quarterly ratio to be greater than the annual ratio. The answer is acc 1.01375 or 1.018 to 4 sig figs. This changes teh answer to 3b but cba to calculate it

Ok so why would 5 b not have x as 34.8. Because if u graph them both and find the intersect that is the value

This is pretty awful, you barely explain anything in 30 minutes and seems like you just input the answers from the markscheme
