I told my son who is a lifelong Lakers fan, that CC reminded me of a young Jerry West. Same moves. He could shoot a 35 footer all day but it was his pinpoint passing that set him above all the rest. Chick Hearn, the Lakers voice for many decades always said it’s not just that West got the ball to his teammates, it was that he got the ball into the players hand at just the exact moment for the play to be made easily.
