Thousands fill downtown Toronto streets for anti-Black racism protest

Solidarity protests in support of Black lives lost to police are underway in Toronto afternoon, with storefronts throughout the downtown core boarded up.

Protesters gathered at Yonge and Bloor streets and marched south on Yonge to Dundas, before continuing west on Dundas back to Bloor.

The protest continued peacefully, with marchers chanting "Black lives matter," "I can't breathe," and "George Floyd, say his name."

They just wanted to get out of the house and Toronto would not host a giant rock concert like the last Corona virus. Toronto is extremely multicultural I don't know how any racist could live there. I was born in a black neighborhood in Toronto blacks are not a minority group there imo. Everyone lives together lots of interracial couples too and whites get mistreated by the police sometimes also.
