I took a pause when I saw this video because that same thing happened to me except when I feel into the deep end I wasn't wearing heels and a dress. My sneakers and jeans dragged me right to the bottom and I couldn't use my legs because of the denim but luckily I was strong enough to swim to the surface and get an arm on the side of the pool in time. Don't just learn to swim- be careful and know your surroundings! Thanks for the PSA!

Wearing shoes or being fully clothed does not cause somebody to become a drowning victim. People in many other countries wear shoes and their clothes when they swim and they don't have any issues.
