This exact thing happened to me when i started hunting as a kid. A big black bear came charging full speed ahead and up my tree, then waited for a giant porcupine to run by, and then flew back down the tree to chase it. Btw Idk if any of yall have seen a fully grown porcupine before, but they get massive. You expect them to be tiny, but they can literally grow to the size of an adolescent bear cub.
