How to Catch Riolu - Pokemon Sword & Shield

To anybody watching this that cant find riolu you need to have atleast beaten 3 gyms to unlock the snowstorm weather then enter hamerlocke and change your date to 8/15/20 once done he should appear in the giants cap

If you’re still having trouble finding him after, having 3 gym badges and changing the weather. And it’s still not working, well first make sure you haven’t went inside the next town yet, then just change the weather and if it’s just snowing and not a snowstorm just go to the town play a little bit of the story then come back and check after doing like 5 mins of the story. And atp the weather should be snowstorm. Then boom you should see him. I was having trouble to, the weather was only snowing and not storming. But that’s what I did to find him and it worked for me!!!

I think I used up all my luck on Munchlax because he’s also 5% and I saw him first try in the first patch of grass. I beat the fire gym and immediately started searching in a blizzard for Riolu, it’s been about 3 hours and I still haven’t see it

I just got the game back and I stayed up all night to beat it now that I beat it I wanted to get Lucario so I went to catch riolu and it works u just have to reload it game a couple times
