Love that the cameraman focused on the crowd for a change. It really is an emotional experience. I watched on the news, and one channel just showed the sun in half a dozen places, and after you've seen it once it gets boring. But the reaction of the crowd, and seeing the whole sky go dark in seconds - THAT is magic.

This is darker than my city Phoenix at night on any night! I haven’t seen the density of the stars since 1994, I lived in a town in Arkansas of 401 people growing up and I remember how many stars are really in the sky, most people here have never witnessed true darkness and the density of the stars!
