Haven’t played 2k in years and was about to get back to it thinking this would be something that would surprise me being on the ps5 but this looks like every other 2k to come out since 2k12, catch me on the next one if they actually upgrade this shit to be a next gen game

20 years later, the motion of players running up and down still look s***ty and robotic...nothing like true to life. Why? Because 2K refuses to change the direction of the game and always stick to the same lame motion where every animation a player did is chained to another animation. This create unrealistic static on court behaviors.

I prefer the old NBA live games, where you could easily dunk. Less realistic, but more fun.

Was there any improvements to the animations?
Observing doesn't look like much improvement since 2k20.
Currently own 2k20, looking to get latest 2k on PS5. But idk seems the same playing 2k20 on the PS5, may just hold off...and play Fifa 22 instead.

No differens between nba 2k21 and 2k22, just a whole new roster

Gave up on 2K since 2K17. I feel like we get the exact same animations with every release the last 10 years. And they shut down the servers after a couple years for each game just to force you to buy a replica with slightly better graphics.

i try to do cpu vs cpu season to see how it unfolds and watch every game... but there is to many times were the same handful of players shoot 25 or more times sometimes 35 times in a game, i dont want them to shoot that much.. but i guess they have to to make up for the lack of shooting fouls, but i was 5 or 6 games in and Luka, who happens to be the cover players, was avg 49 pts a game and shooting 33 shots a game, i even lowered his shot tendency, depending on the team and players, i try to at least have 3 guys all within 5 pts of each other on the shot tendency attribute, spread it out alil

Now some games and some teams the results seem to come out pretty close to what they do when u sim the games,

i will say tho, there was a few times the bad crappy teams had horrible shooting games, like almost unreal, some games i saw a few teams score like 55 to 65 pts in a full 12 min qtr games.... sooo i kinda gave up on it alil when after about 6 games for every team.. the top 7 scorers in the league leader Colum all had 35 ppg or more

I’ve got a PS5 and this is the first 2K I’ve ever bought (I’m from the UK I play more FIFA) and I really liked it. Graphics wise this game is top notch.

The left stick dribble animations have looked awful for years. 2k17 is the last 2k to have somewhat fluid/real looking animations.
