You'll never go wrong with an ESEE knife, it's probably the #1 bushcraft knife. I know lot's of guys prefer Ka-Bar, Tops, Ontario or some custom made knife. But even with budget friendly competitors like Condor or Schrade, I believe most dedicated bushcraft guys will still go with ESEE. I would like to see them add a ferro-rod loop to the sheath.

Love the new intro. My main back pack knife is a esee 6 and I love damn thing so much. I went with the bigger esee so I could practice batoning wood. I might check this model out for smaller task tho.
