1975 Chevy Nova LN Commercial - Features Actor Patrick Dennis

No numbers are broken out for the LN series of Nova, but overall, 272,982 Chevy Nova were build in 1975. This body style was in it's first model year (series III). The under side of the car, the platform was extremely dated and low tech, first appearing in 1968.

Actually, this Nova body style debuted in '75. There was a "Coke bottle" look to the Nova in what was the third generation of the car, which was offered from '68-'74. We had a 1975 2-door Nova Custom, which Chevy tried to describe as being like a Mercedes in its presentation. It had a 5.7 liter (350 cu. in.) engine, which would dog slightly when you stepped on it, but had a strong top end response. It was a heavy car, and ours only served us for 4 years, owing to accidents my sister and I dealt to its frame.
