How to Overlay Image in Davinci Resolve

Learn how to overlay images in Davinci Resolve. Make sure to always put overlay images above the video otherwise you won’t be able to see it.

Let’s say you want to add this bird image on top of the video.
Import your media.
Just drag and drop video and image to the media pool.
Now put the video on the timeline.
And also drag the image on top of the video.
Always put overlay images above the video otherwise you won’t be able to see it.

This image is a bit large.
Select it on the timeline and select the inspector.
To resize it, just move this zoom value.
Also, you can position it or flip.
Play with the inspector to find the perfect balance.

how do you make the image stay on the screen? i see on yours, it automatically extended the entire length of the clip of your timeline. in mine, it only is there for half a second and then disappears. when i try to make it longer, it is stuck, it is like it is locked to only be there for half a second.
