Governors outline their achievements on devolution

The council of governors has vowed to oppose the proposed referendum, unless it increases shareable revenue between national and county governments. Governors want allocation to the counties increased from current 15 per cent to 45 per cent. While issuing a state of devolution address, Chairman Wycliffe Oparanya also decried the constant delay, in release of funds meant for the counties, saying it was disrupting service delivery.
