I just ordered mine. The Crown Jewel of my system. I decided to build a Eurorack synth because of this very video. Now I am "almost done" with a 9U 104HP + 3U 90HP system. What a beautiful, crazy world I have entered... Came back to say thank you!

This has to be one of the best gear reviews ever. I come back and watch it again every year or so.

This video probably single handedly accounted for 1000 sales of that unit.

I'll say this once then off my soapbox. This video is absolutely stunning....
THIS IS the very ESSENCE of the ART of Electronic Music and the random nature of analog circuity which makes it such an absolute joy to create and hear..parts of this video brought me to tears... the random nature of control voltage non-linearity is just so absolutely beautiful and breath-taking...nothing is ever the same  twice  and hence, why it is TRUE ART in its most simple, honest and raw form.

This is the funniest music tech review I've ever seen. Bravo.

You're brilliant, mate.

I am sincerely amused by the fact that I “found” and watch this cool Metropolis demo now after 4 years of modular twiddling. Not that I hadn’t seen or even considered Metropolis before. But you bring it to life really. Thanks!

that cardboard case is a dream... HOW CAN YOU AFFORD THIS!?!?!?!

I lusted after Ryk's sequencer pretty hard back when I had one a five-module 100m setup. I'm happy to see that Intellijel has licensed it because, as your video demonstrates, it deserves a wider audience.

Wave Strike's comment about "Top Gear" is spot-on. The tone and pacing are very slick, and you've clearly spent some time with it. Excellent video.

now it all comes back, you are the dude who made a tutorial about how to built a synth case from cardboard years ago ...

One of the best - if not the best - demonstration performance video I have ever seen. Thank you!

mylarmelodies i just came back to watch this again. Ive had metro for a few months now and its still ridiculously fun. I didnt “get” all the various features of sequencers, and I realized this wasnt ideal for drums (at least more than 1 track of drums...so, drum?), so i have other sequencers now for drums (primarily euclidean circles v2–also brilliant), but the metropolis is still so unique and immediate and tactile. You have been an instrumental and wonderful guide on my eurorack journey. I follow everything you post; its always rad, smart and usually funny. Thank you!

I've seen, and drooled over, this video probably 34 times since I ordered a Metropolis a couple of weeks back. It's still just as mesmerizing as the first time I saw it. Someone should hire you to promote their gear.

Half the reason this video is awesome is because this guy is creating such badass, awesome-sounding sequences
