DR. LAVNYA BALENDERAN:
Lavnya is a junior doctor working at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth UK. She was born and raised in Malaysia. At 19 years old she came to the UK to pursue her higher education in medicine. She graduated from Newcastle University (UK) with a merit in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). During medical school, she developed a keen interest in acute medicine. After medical school, she decided to pursue her post-graduate medical education in the UK. She is currently training to be an acute medicine physician. She obtained her Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in 2017 and completed the Specialty Certificate Exam (SCE) in acute medicine in 2019.
