Ukraine city surrounded with ‘no way out’

The city of Mariupol is reportedly surrounded by Russian forces, with defenders within revealing there was now no way out, and pleading that they "not be forgotten".

My dad fought in WWII and he said that building to building fighting is the toughest form of war. Every door is a trap your senses are all at full and fatigue plays a huge factor as you are on constant alert. It gives the defenders a huge advantage. So Ukraine soldiers don't meet them in the fields or in the open numbers always win easy hide and conceal traps for them for sure they wont want to do that hard dirty work. My dad was a polish junior officer and he was there when the russians waited for the germans to wipe them out in Warsaw near the end of the war. And I thought Stalin was a monster.

The Ukraine people are amazing stay strong. No one wins in war. Loved ones will be missed on both sides. So sad. I'm so proud you fight for your land. I know people in both countries and no one wants war.
