The Bamboo bar was one of my favourite places to go since the late 1990's! We used to go for drinks in the beer bars before. And get there around midnight. Great band and singers there before. You always used to meet a freelancer also, on the dancefloor!

the Bamboo bar (!) charged 130 baht for a (small) beer ... you needed to pay with every made order, the waiter(s) dint even bother to bring your change/money back ... they wanted tips on every delivery ... was in decline before Covid times !!!

Never was and never will be bothered with drinking street, never found it very friendly for a start and the mixture of different music styles from each bar made my head spin..

Yes, Terminal foodcourt is very cheap and pretty good, cheaper than Central foodcourt I think. BTW Nick, what does the "i" in NDtvi stand for? Nick Dean TV internet?
