Owner of the pc, I can’t express my gratitude to you for fixing the pc. It’s always been my dream to have my own pc and now it’s come true partly because of you.

It's great to see someone so young building their own PC. Especially since he did make a good effort to troubleshoot it himself.

I have been teaching my son about PC repair since he was 5-6yrs old, and now that he is 14 he fixes all his friends PCs.

That's pretty awesome that at 14 they wanted to build their first PC. I didn't build my first until I was in my early 20s. It's so helpful that the next generation of builders have so many YouTube videos to help them build and troubleshoot, and sometimes have someone who can help them when all else fails 😊
I'm glad Greg was able to help this young builder out and get his system working...

Big W for saving this gpu from combusting down the road. Feels like this has to be the another highlight for this episode.

What an insane build for a 14 year old. His parents must have a lot of money or he worked a lot and saved up money. But really cool that teens still build their own PCs, I love it. BIOS updates are an issue many don't think about so I don't judge him about that. Same with fan placement. It is his first own build rig and for that he did a great job!

I respect that at 14 this kid was able to build it still, and even troubleshoot it farther than most adults can.

Great series, by far my favorite PC binge-watch series on Youtube. I appreciate all the tips I've picked up from watching this series. Really enjoy your channel thanks for all the great content...

Big respect to be quiet! Going to be using a ton of their products in my am5 build.

one thing AMD did right with the AM5 platform was to make all boards support bios flashback.
hopefully intel does te same thing next gen

IDK why but I always love watching this series. Even when its this simple or something super complex, its always fun to watch. I really like the small upgrade the viewer got with the fans as well will probably make a huge difference over time for temps.

In brief summary, dram light could mean faulty ram slots, faulty ram, faulty cpu memory controller, faulty motherboard, or incompatible bios version

Let's see what Greg has for us today 😁👍

I wish more motherboard manuals would link to the online repository of bios and walk them through what bios works with what cpus better, so someone who was new at building pcs could figure this out. I remember when I first started building pcs during the pandemic and trying to pair a 5600x with an older am4 mobo was a nightmare. TBH even now when I buy older b450 mobos to pair with 3600x or newer cpus for budget builds I have to keep a ryzen 2700 around incase I have to dig around said mobos bios to update it to the latest correct bios, its a pain and I know what im doing lol.

I had this exact same problem... old motherboard bios (same thing).. but I have a 2080super and a 13700kf... the place i bought it from installed the new bios for me... got it back and it only booted half of the times. what I did: Replaced ram with something that was on the approved list, still only 50% boot.. I moved the m2 from the slot nearest the gpu to the others... Unpluged and pluged all the things. (I have the asus thor 850W psu). Nothing worked. So I sent them back to the place i bought it. Still waiting on the funds back. Any good ideas on what I could have done?

once i seen the 600 series motherboard with 13th gen i figured it was old Bios. that TUF H670 is $180 dollars you can get Z690/Z790 for that price or less currently.

I think Manufacturers should make sure their products sold are up to date, so consumers don't run into this kind of scenario. First time builders don't have previous gen CPU's lying around to do this bios update.
