This 1969 Chevrolet Nova belongs to comedian, podcaster, and all-around automobile enthusiast, Joe Rogan. It was penned by Pure Vision of Simi Valley, CA and is a perfect example of what happens when out-of-the-box thinking comes together with modern engineering and intelligent design.

Ha! My first thought on seeing the profile of this car was, “ why dose that nova look so much like a camaro?” Wow such great work!

On this episode, Penn and Teller make a car disappear

Sheesh, after reading these comments I guess there are hundreds of high end custom car builders wasting there time on youtube...

If you close your eyes this guy sounds just like Penn Jillette. MAGIC!

2nd nova with that spoiler. Martin bros. Did one also. Doesn't look right on a rounded back car!

69 camaros are so overbuilt that we have to turn a nova into a camaro???

A lot of work to make the car uglier than a Nova or Camaro.

Love it, only criticism is the section of the wing blending into the rear quarter panels. Let that very unique part speak for itself.

Leave the wing, (stock car style) remove the quarter panel molds.

Wouldn't turn it away either way!

I recognized that overhead console immediately. A friend had a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T SE. The console has 3 warning lights, Door Ajar, Seat Belts & Low Fuel. Not surprisingly the Low Fuel light was usually always on with a thirsty 440 Magnum.

There are some huge gaps and alignment problems with the panels. Hate the rear spoiler.

Anyone that refers to cheez wizz gets an A+ in my book. Absolutely one of the best 55 evet. Scott Sullivan is the one of most unsung automotive genius ever. I think his modesty in style is a reflection of who he is as a builder and and as a man.

Cool to see something different. Love to do a feature vid on that ride.

Looks a lot like an Australian Ford Falcon (1973) from the Mad Max movie, with a Nova front clip.

I remember when I was a kid in Cuba, cabs were Novas, Falcons and little Dodges I don't remember the model. They were made in Argentina though.

Excellent metal work but why? It just looks hacked-up, a stock Nova looks better. That rear end/spoiler looks terrible. Interior looks good, though

I was hoping for Mike Musto since he wrote the article. But this was still a great video.
