One of the only times in the MCU the villain defeats the hero in a straight up fair fight. Made Killmonger one of the best villains ever

"I'll take you both, Uncle James" That part just hits so well. He says his name with near disgust because in hindsight; he betrayed N'Jobu as he actually saw him as his friend

This whole fight hits differently when you remember they’re cousins by blood.

It's crazy to think at this point Chadwick was battling colon cancer during this movie and still looks like hes in his prime. RIP you'll never be forgotten.

If any villain deserves to be called a true warrior
It's Killmonger

One fueled by rage going for the kill.
One fueled with shame from his father's sins and a reluctant to kill.
Kilmonger was winning going into the fight.

"I took life from my own brothers and sisters right here on this continent". The lengths he was willing to go to just to achieve his goals.
Hate him or Love him, Killmonger is brilliant and intelligent. The man is Ruthless.

Can we just appreciate that at 4:20 Okoye is the only one that doesn't salute? Just a tiny detail but I love it

What I admire about Killmonger, is how he started from the projects from nothing, to achieving his one goal. It shows that anyone who has the will can achieve what they want.

Nobody talks about this one enough but the look on Okoye’s face at the end does it for me every time. That hurt her to her core and you can feel that emotion radiating through the screen.

Rest In Peace Chadwick Boseman. This doesn’t feel real.

Notice that T'Challa technically could have won the fight at 1:33 but chose mercy. But when Killmonger had the same chance he chose execution. It's the little things that makes the choreography and movie amazing.

It's amazing how Killmonger's character is a master of adaptation. He adapted to the world and rose within its infrastructure in a way that would perfectly suit his cause, and in the end he became who he needed to be. In the same way, he began the fight trying to connect powerful 1-hit KO blows until T'Challa cut his face. He then realized that small, intricate cuts to the body would break his opponent down slowly but surely until he'd eventually win. You could see it on his face as soon as he realized this.. Once again, he adapted, and he won.

The pain in Eric’s face when he realized his Uncle James had been partially the cause and still called him that before he killed him :(
