I personally wouldn't scratch the Rosin because it can possibly damage shit or crack it making it crack into bits and plus when you rub it on your bow it should come up on its own from the bow

The bridge, should not be at 90%, but tilled back a little. And it's better, to crush up the rosin, making into powder. Then, work it into the hair with your fingers. After that, put a small mound of it on a piece of paper, and move the hair through it, to put some back on, occasionally.
