49 years ago - graduated from college ready to join the new and exciting world of computers, just got engaged after being the maid of honor in a dozen weddings, watched all of the Christmas shows on TV, arrived a bit late at Midnight Mass but still got a front row seat, full of hope for the future.
Oh, well.
What a show! Cher proving to everyone that she can really sing and REALLY act! I knew that from the initial days of Sonny and Cher.
Such beautiful costumes by Bob Mackie, great orchestra, singers who can actually sing in harmony, Redd Fox who made my dad laugh, wonderful arrangement and performance of "Silent Night".

Thanks to all of the people involved in this celebration of the spirit of Christmas.
And, may all of you watching this special performance have a happy and healthy new year!
