EA SPORTS PGA TOUR will have 28 real-life and 2 fantasy courses for a total of 30 beautiful golf courses at launch. And on each of these courses comes a variety of gameplay and visual features that result in 30 unique experiences to play.

Each course is designed in stunning quality with Frostbite, so you can immerse yourself in golf’s finer details more than ever before. And to achieve the most true to life course visuals we painstakingly mapped Augusta National, the home of the Masters, and other courses, with state-of-the-art technologies like photogrammetry scanning, drone tech, and survey-grade GPS.

And visuals are only one part of making a course feel like it does in real life. To make each course not only appear but feel accurate to real life, Pure Strike gameplay’s course dynamics impact the way the ball behaves on every green in the game.

Each course is tuned to behave just the way it does in real life that impact the firmness of a ball’s bounce, the speed of its roll, the impact on ball spin, and the launch of the ball which vary from course to course.

The most realistic part of this game is when they say "Course dynamics also ensure that the outcome of every golf shot is more life like then ever" and the shot immediately goes into the bunker

Ball bounces look strange indeed, but this definitely looks promising, and way better visually than 2K series.

Obviously Augusta is the biggest draw, and rightfully so. But I'm so glad to see other amazing courses like The Country Club, Southern Hills, and Bandon Dunes for example. All amazing courses, and something we haven't had in a video game before.

I expect future DLC courses. I hope they get LA Country Club for this year's U.S. Open. Again, the rights and mapping it out takes time, etc, but so far this game has knocked it out of the park with the courses it offers.

I will say, compared to the last trailer, it looks a little smoother. Graphically, it looks great, running smoothly is a whole different animal. 30 FPS has me scared that its going to be very choppy

about to ditch 2K so fast for this come March.. no licensing for the majors and missing images for half the tour players just takes you out of it. Hope this is as next level as it looks!

I remember playing the Tiger games, loved the character progression upgrading all his shot types, clubs, ball, clothing. Was a fun golf game, I hope it has these things still.

Would be dope if there was free roaming or something. Where we could actually walk around the courses / drive golf carts to find our ball. and some sort of career mode where you could purchase houses/cars/newclubs/etc. i wanna feel like a golf celebrity lol

The max 30fps on next gen consoles is a bit of a deal breaker for me. My friends and I play 2k23 every week at 60fps on PS5. If they release a performance mode in the future at 60fps I may consider this.

All looks amazing and I'll be getting day 1 - but can we please have a few more British Open courses as at the moment it will be St Andrews every year.
