I'm an extremely sensitive person. I pick up on the energy of people and other animals. It's not always good. Not once have I picked up on energy of a plant. Because they have no feelings, no sentience. They cannot emit wavelengths of energy because they're not conscious beings.

Suggesting that plants can "feel" something without a central nervous system is as absurd as suggesting they can make a heart attack without a heart. In any case, response to stimuli does not equal feeling, much less pain.

Hi, David! Love your work, but that’s not the best counter argument in my opinion. The better one would be that to produce a pound of meat you would need to use up 16 pounds of plants. Therefore, if somebody really cares about plants’ feelings, veganism is still a way to go

I am vegan & I am connected to nature so I get what the native Americans meant. I do notice that trees try to reach out to each other, almost like holding hands. Having said that, trees & plants seem to “appreciate”us picking the fruit or veggies off because if you pick the fruit of the trees then the next year there are more!Same with some veggies.

Ummm actually plants emit a micro chemical whenever they’re being cut, this scream warns other plants of the danger, that’s why the grass smells so fresh after being cut. This scream isn’t exactly a physical scream, it’s more of a chemical one, and it’s at a frequency humans can’t hear… sorry :)

Plants do have awareness and life o obviously, but we got to eat something so it's just the lowest on the pain suffering threshold so that's it. Not to mention all the other reason s of course. these plants rights activists are very annoying because it's just trying to to draw a false equivalency between animals and plants, thereby somehow magically negating all the nuance between those two. cuz if they can be like it doesn't matter just eat whatever you want it doesn't matter it's circle of life plants right though....🙃🙃🙃
