Apostle Paul | The Final Footsteps in Rome

Apostle Paul was imprisoned several times for boldly preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in multiple cities, including Rome. Later, he became a martyr and the letters that he wrote while in prison are apart of the New Testament. Jermaine Coles traveled to Rome to explore the final footsteps of Apostle Paul in the Bible, and he visited his apartment, what is thought to be the jail cell, the beheading site, and the burial cemetery of Paul.

I am currently in Rome to also walk in the last footsteps of Paul after having started in Thessaloniki, Acts 18. It had been a very emotional trip, but I rejoice at the faithfulness and goodness thay He goes before us and is always with us. I went down into some catacombs where early Christians were buried here and though such horrific things happened to many of them via the coliseum, Christian symbols are found all over the Tombs. What a Testament to the realness of our faith!

This documentary shines a light on how the early Christians suffered for Christ! Paul called himself the chief of sinners. What a remarkable statement! This is a exceptional documentary! I guess the Christ in me would have to rise up and help me suffer for his name sake! I could never do it on my own. Not the way the early Christians did. Being free to worship and love God is a privilege that I often take for granted.😢

I enjoyed watching your video. I recently came back from Rome. Although I was taken by the excitement of the sculptures and architecture, I couldn't help it but to think of the emperors that ruled and the people that died for their faith. It makes me wonder if the the lives we are living are worthy of those that sacrificed their lives in order to spread the gospel. Thank you for making this video. I hope that you could give us details on how to visit these places. It is more common to hear how to visit the colosseum or Vatican city but not how to find tours to these places.

It's one of the greatest books I've ever read and I've read it four times since 1970....about once a decade. After reading the book and seeing your video it brings so much to life.
