Attention managment > Time Managament.

I'm gonna retake the icanstudy course whenever it opens up. I need a revision of that system before spring semester.

Lol no wonder it created stress. 5 minutes isn’t enough time to do anything.

Shifting tasks is mentally exhausting. Shifting tasks every five minutes is suicide.

Time blocking for 2 hours stresses me out, imagine 5 minutes

Really depends with the person. What I got from the 5 min time blocking is also stress but at the same time I feel rewarded every 5 minutes that I feel like I can procrastinate 😂

The issue is that you need to schedule time to: relax as well as time for "random." Things will always come up that is "unexpected." But in reality the unexpected is expected... block time for it. You SHOULD have time for empty space. I can see why it is stressful if you are trying to do something every minute

So it's not that you wouldn't recommend it, it's not just a long term recommendation

This video resonated with me. Implementing Astirna New Tab has helped me declutter my digital workspace and manage my time effectively.

I think one of the issues is everyone is different and people are fitting themselves in a box they don't fit in; That's how long it took him to do those tasks so first you would need to time yourself doing those tasks without pressure and then " block them " that way it will be realistic for YOUR OWN needs not someone else's, so if it takes you 45 minutes to do homework that's YOUR time block, so you need to learn the amount of time it takes YOU to get things done. ✌️
Edit: with anxiety what works for me is to prioritize daily. The one touch rule is effective too however it can be overwhelming if you use it in the wrong environment.

Why 5 minute what can you even get done in that time lol. Have you tried 20 or 30 min blocks if so how was your experience with longer blocks?

So do you timeblock time to timeblock? Can you enter a timeblock recursive loop?

I think misunderstood time blocking. Its to create freedom of time on your schedule, not the other way around.
