I like this video a lot. It covers the angles you don't usually learn as an EAL learner, e.g. I was taught that the "zero conditional" is always structured: if + present simple, present simple. It absolutely blew my mind when I learnt there was much more to it and suddenly it all seemed logical, not just a bunch of rules you had to memorise.
I am now teaching conditionals - the irony is not lost on me - and this is the only video I was able to find which actually covers conditionals in their entirety, and in 2 minutes at that!
I wish 14-year-old me had known you could learn this in 2 minutes using logic rather than in 3 years using grammar rules explained by people with questionable subject knowledge.

1st: If I buy a camera, I could take amazing photos. (possibility, likely to happen)
2nd: If I bought a camera, I would take amazing photos. (hypothetical situacion, unlikely)
3rd: If I had bought a camera, I would've taken amazing photos. (imagined past)
Mixed: If I had bought a camera, I would take amazing photos. (present result of a past action: I bought a camera, so now I can take amazing photos)

(Are those sentences correct?)

"If it rained, we stayed inside" feels a bit awkward. In what context would we need to use 1st conditional in past? Thank you!

Hi Dan, I loved your video, if I didn't watch your video, I would be making more mistakes with conditionals!

Tks Sir for your time but again another problem here. I watched number of lectures in regard to this but not a single one says in Cond 0 we can also use Past and Past.

To my understanding there are 2 mixed conditionals.
Then there are 6 conditionals in total., aren't they?

What happens if we use second conditional with would? What does that mean unreal future? But what’s the difference between this type mixed second+would with normal second+will???

But i think you're speaking a little too fast, the begginers might not understand the grammar
