What I Wear to Work 📈 | business casual outfit ideas i *actually* wear ✨

Today I'm sharing a week of outfits that I might typically wear to work. My style definitely leans toward the more casual, comfortable side, and I always prioritize comfort over anything else due to the nature of my job. I'm a pharmacist, which means that I often stand for the majority of the day, and in some cases I can also wear scrubs etc if I want to. I hope this gives you a better understanding of my style, and tips on how to incorporate more comfortable pieces in your workwear wardrobe that still look presentable (imo!)

I agree with a previous comment, finally some realistic outfits! Every time I see videos with pretty but ridiculously impractical outfits- that kind of stuff that looks good for 3 minutes and only if you don't move a finger. This was refreshing 😌

This is great to see. I work as a school-based occupational therapist, so I walk the line between "professional" and "getting-down-on-the-floor-with-kids, " so this is the kind of vibe I try to get. I feel validated, lol.

I am so happy to see work outfits for someone who actually leaves the house! So many working from home now, I used to! But, it isn’t for me. I can’t have work and leisure in the same place. I wear scrubs! I work at our local hospital doing patient care so I accessorize with earrings, hair styles/clips, and a little pin on my badge extender.

This video is super helpful - I just switched from wearing hospital-scrubs / traditional clothes to a more open office environment which has been kinda stressful. Putting the blazer on top of the sweatshirt and joggers really changed the look! I was impressed! I'm at a university and also allowed to dress fairly casually, but like to keep it a bit elevated so people know I'm not a student :) Mostly jeans, blouses & sweaters--personally, I wear a lot of dresses with tights and boots as well. It's funny how the oxfords are so confounding--I have two that I seriously never wear. For me, they are not quite warm enough on their own. Maybe I'll keep trying.

This is very funny… I am a pharmacist in Glasgow and wear similar work wear as you. My friends think I dress too casual in tshirts and jumpers. Also my staples are a leather A line skirt, doc martens or black converse… my patients don’t care what I wear really. I shaved my head and bleached it in December and again, my patients don’t care. I think coming accords as accessible and empathetic is way more important than portraying your “professionalism” via uncomfortable shoes and pencil skirts…

Great video as always. I would wear all the outfits to work -it's my own business, so we can be pretty casual. I would skip the blazer, as I don't like blazers, and they make me look very square, and go for a wooly jumper instead. Love a moto jacket! Our office is cold so more layers also but great looks.
