Long Live The King Appeal

Kept illegally as an ‘exotic pet’, King was found in an abandoned Paris apartment, half-starved and cowering in a small, dirty cage. He had been found after shocking footage was circulated on social media of a man kicking and punching him… Little King is now at a temporary rescue centre. Your kindness and support today will allow Born Free to take King back to his ancestral homeland of Africa, to our big cat sanctuary, Shamwari Game Reserve.

Thank you Born Free for rescuing this precious cub from the living hell that he had endured due to the repulsive trafficking of wild animals. I hope the punishment received by the so-called 'owner' fits the seriousness of the crime.

I wish all lions in zoos/circuses could be rescued and live in peace here for the rest of their lives. Please rescue the lions and tigers kept on chains at Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo in Thailand!! It is soooo sad!! There are videos on YouTube showing off the chimpanzees which is also very sad (and Jane Goodall needs to see!) and you can see the poor lions in the background. They just lay there on a short chain on a hard floor all day long. They usually have just one on display but they have both lions and tigers. The baby cubs are kept in small cages and taken from their mother. You can hear them crying in the background in every single video, they are never happy!! It is so cruel to see such magnificent animals live in such a deplorable situation!! You can see the videos on “Lekbiz Childtoy” channel. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE RESUE THEM!!
