K6-2 was the brain of the first machine I'd have in my room. I vividly remember transplanting the guts from my dads pc into a budget case and building it with my dad. We where up past midnight installing windows 95 using the dinner table as a work bench despite my mother complaining about both. My eyes where glued to the 14" CRT, mentally noting everything going on. His new rig was capable of running flight simulator, we flew all over the world and I could fly a Cessna before reaching double digits age. The 90ies where exciting!
