Saving The West (STW) is a policy document developed in 2016 around the Sagehen Forest Project by the Center for the Study of the Force Majeure at UC Santa Cruz.
Participants include convener Josh Harrison, artist Newton Harrison, Vance Russell of the National Forest Foundation (NFF), consultant Amy Horne, Bill Fox of the Nevada Museum of Art's Center for Art + Environment, Jeff Brown and Faerthen Felix from Sagehen, and artist Lauren Bon of the Metabolic Studio, who inspired the expanded vision addressing the entire Intermountain West.
