It is so disingenuous to bring up the fact that Nick Saban struggled in his first season in Alabama. Saban had to build a roster and create a winning culture, and DeBoer was handed a turnkey winner.

Beginning of the season i saw a tore up Alabama, hurt by transfers and coaching changes, but after the second loss to an unranked team, I'm not feeling deboer's coaching style. First and foremost, discipline. There is none. I've never been truly a fan of milroe, but this game was sickening to watch. Losing is one thing, that was a complete embarrassment.

Simply broken down? Bad play calls, on both sides of the ball. First *8* runs by milroe, *3* yards? Ffs. *8* times they tried that shit. For the first half, i thought it was only the QBs on the field. Ridiculous. Bad coaching. Dropped balls that hit receivers in the hands. A defense that couldn't protect a ham sandwich from a hungry 10 year old. Bad play calls. No discipline. Bad decisions. Bad prep. No adjustments.

Just bad all around. Deboer, you're not going to be able to hug your way through this, you're gonna have to put your foot down and get some damn discipline going. Tbh, I don't know how coach Saban and Miss Terry were even able to watch that mess. NO ONE seemed to know what they were doing. Milroe reverted back to the kind of play that coach Saban benched him for last year.

Like i said, losing is one thing, that was something else.

Kalen Deboer, they have no reason to say Nick saban struggled his first year. Kalen was handed a program that finished top 4 the year before Kalen didn’t have to build it up from scratch. He has been outcoached 3 times his first year and keep in mind Alabama was ranked #1 after the Georgia win. The calls on offense is atrocious and the defense was less than lackluster last night. Credit to OU coaches and players they showed up to play and they were the best team on that field. KD better start having a disciplined, prepared and well functioning team if he expects to stay in Tuscaloosa

Alabama is an excellent program. We (OU) haven't exactly had a season to be proud of but for some reason, were able to come out on top here. I have no doubt both programs will be back sooner rather than later.

Yea Milroe put the ball right where he needed to 3 times in a row to the other team.. It is beyond me why he didn't pull Milroe. Allour other QBs should probably will hit the transfer portal because he proved no matter how bad Milroe played he would NOT pull him!!!

We regressed to where we were 4-5 weeks ago. I'm a novice, but I knew when Milroe was going to run the ball. No reason to make him the whole offence when you have all the talent we have on that side of the ball. The bad call on the TD didn't help us in creating some momentum, either. I don't know if it would have mattered, OU's defense and our inability to call the right plays on offence ended up being crucial. Congrats to Oklahoma, well done. Oh, the pain....
