I like to PvP, and PvE on ARK Ascended. Usually beating maps under an ARK challenge. Unlocking the ending cinematics is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play some wild mods, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, maps, maybe even premium mods and official usually covering all maps from Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration to Extinction, Gen 1 & Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

I want to give huge props to the volunteer film team. We cover the mod spotlights every week but this week it wasn't just that but this new map itself. We filmed for 8+ hours straight everyday this week, and I have to say they were awesome and really stepped up. Best team! Also there are a ton of mods that dont make spotlights either because they are broken, look terrible have copyrighted materials, or dont work as intended or aren't advertised as intended. So make sure you have clear instructions on your mods peeps. We don't have time to sit there and figure it out. ❤

For the yi ling, find a level area, clear any bushes/trees/rocks that might block your view, build a 2x2 square trap up on 2 pillars, two doorframes tall all the way around, open top, with one ramp down to the ground at a corner, then use walls or doorframes to seal off all around to the ground under the floor of the trap. By putting it a little higher off the ground, the yi ling won't go into the running attack mode, which is triggered by getting close to the ground. Uneven terrain makes this obvious. If there are cliff walls or large trees/rocks in the area around the trap where the yi ling is circling, it will cling to the surface and snipe for a bit wasting torpor. The reason you use a 4x4 square rather than a hexagon is that it can't hit you when you're standing in the middle, so once you get to 30+ feathers, you keep them throughout the tame, and it's just almost constant divebombs, flash grenades and biotoxin feeding. Way faster.

I'm so disappointed that it's coming out on the 10th and we all know Raas is going to be playing it live that Day. I'll be on vacation and won't be able to watch it live. I'll have to wait until the following Monday before I can watch it. But I am so excited to see this map. I am a HUGE fan of the original Clash of the Titans so it's going to be amazing.

As someone who will never play on a for real pvp server (excluding pvp setting for breeding purposes or whatever), I wish games would start selling pvp/pve only versions of games. I just could not care less what is going on or being exploited in pvp. It's become so common for things I enjoy in a game to be wiped out bc of pvp when it functioned just fine in pve. I'm genuinely terrified to spend money on any new games with pvp elements bc it's almost assured to at some point ruin my experience in pve

The cannon is a one shot knockout to a karkinos, with 100% taming effectiveness for me so far. I have a karkinos trap on a zeppelin, and it's one of the smoothest taming experiences in the game. Easy peasy.

Hopefully wild card will fix the opening inventory bug that just crashes the game, literally the only prob I've had on ps5
