KL Rahul's defense and technique against the swinging and seaming ball in Perth was a class apart..For me he was the best batsman from both the teams not by the number of runs but the way he looked assured in his defense in both the 1st and 2nd innings..He hardly gave any chances and unfortunately got a wrong decision in the 1st innings on a pitch which was full of juice for the faster men..He played almost the entire 1st session to blunt the new ball and India could scrap & reach 150 or else they would have folded within 100..he should be a permanent opener particularly in conditions helpful for the seamers..he is the only guy who can blunt the new ball and play a Pujaraesque innings..he has the perfect game for that and can up the ante later if required..i hope he has a fabulous series and lives upto his potential

Don’t ruin things by letting rohit sharma open. He will definitely give a nick and will get out giving momentum to aussies. Let kl and jaishwal open and fit rohit at no.5, every senior players have to adjust with time for youngsters to flourish same as ganguly sachin dhoni kohli, same rohit should do.
