LGR - The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen Stuff Review

Gameplay and overview of the third stuff pack for The Sims 4. What are the new items and clothes? How annoying are ice cream headaches? Questions, answers, snark!

NOTE: Certain ice creams also give you temporary emotional boosts and physical traits. Doesn't change my opinion of the pack though, so the rest of the video is accurate. But I'm sure some will think sprouting leaves from your arms is worth $10, so I figured I'd mention it!

This had so much potential.
Mini fridges, juicers, blenders, mixers, cocktail makers, crock pots (would have been cool to make a variety of soups/pot roasts), or even obnoxious rooster clocks everyone's grandma has in their kitchen.

Who else thought when EA said 'Cool Kitchen' was coming soon we'd be getting a few new Fridges, Sinks, Cookers & maybe a Food Mixer or Juicer! I did. I need the variety.

This is basically 'Cool Ice Cream with Accessories'. I don't see how often I'd even use the icecremer!

Me: "Kitchen Stuff, it must have new stuff for your kitchen. That'll be nice. Maybe a food processor could be thrown in there."

EA: "No you fool! It has a few kitchen related items, like refrigerators and stoves, but a different look. Oh and ice cream. If you want stuff for the actual kitchen, get out Get Cookin Expansion that comes out next month."

This should have been a free update to "reward" EA's customers for supporting their product and purchasing the game and sticking with it.  So many other games being released that are getting free updates for their customers (ie. Ark Survival Evolved, Witcher 3, Grand Theft Auto 5 Online, Guild Wars 2, Cities Skylines).  Instead of all the Stuff Packs most companies would make these as free incentives to keep the game interesting and their clients complimenting their product.  For those saying "ya but they need to make money somehow", well, Other game developers seem to be doing fine with not having to charge their clients an extra $10 a month for game additions that can easily be added in with a small patch.  You would think with all the terrible reviews the game had at release that EA would have learned something.  Game changing expansions I am fine with, these small useless filler packs are not a good way to strengthen loyalty for the game.  Oh and Walmart sells Real-life Ice Cream makers starting at $15.  8P
