I think the concepts and ideas of the beta were cooler than retail, but I think retail is better in general

I love half life 2, i even consider it the best videogame in History the way it already is, but the beta has "that" that i just like even more than the base game. I don't know if it's the dystopic post-apocalyptic world that's built in the beta, the "1984" vibe, the enemies that aren't on the base game, everything as a whole, or what. Yet knowing, that the concept shown, never launched officially, and it probably won't, makes me feel that something's missing, feels like A Phantom Pain

I don't even care for the video itself as much as I just love the alarm syncing with the music (at 0:20). Makes me want a remix that combines this song with HL2/pre-release SFX.
